You and I have to avoid distractions. And with social media, it’s even harder than before.
If you really want to be productive, you’ve got to make a point to do fewer things. And do the RIGHT things.
Here’s my list to be productive:
𝟭. 𝗖𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗼-𝗱𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁. Maybe you think you can handle a lot but the best way to not feel overwhelm and avoid procrastination is to cut your to-do list.
𝟮. 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀. It’s so easy to lose track of time when you’re immersed in your work. As the day moves forward, you’ll find yourself less and less productive. Take a break and you’ll break that cycle.
𝟯. 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟴𝟬/𝟮𝟬 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲. Only 20% of what we do produces 80% of the results. Check your list and reorganize it to focus on the most productive tasks.
𝟰. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗜𝗣𝗔). When you wake-up, you feel tempted to open your messages and reply. If you have an international team, you may have to respond early but make sure you decide how much time you’ll handle messages before you move on to your Income Producing Activities (IPA) or you’ll find yourself at the end of the day feeling you haven’t accomplished much.
𝟱. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺. If your current routine is not giving you the results you want, it’s time to review it and decide when you do what. For example, maybe dedicate Fridays to Follow-ups. Systemize your IPAs so that you accomplish them.
𝟲. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. Focus on one activity at a time and you’ll see that you get a lot more done and feel you’ve accomplished something out of your day when you can check-off important items.
There you have it! My 6 habits of Productive Network Marketers. Implement starting today and you’ll get more done in less time.
